About Me
Dr. Sullivan received his Ph.D. in Political Science at Indiana University – Bloomington. Currently, he is the Russell B. Long Professor of Political Science at Louisiana State University. In addition, Dr. Sullivan has faculty appointments in the Department of Psychology and African & African American Studies. His research centers around racial identity, coping, and racial trauma, and the ways it impacts political and social outcomes.
